Roof Quality Control Inspector

As a Roofing Quality Control Inspector at Trinity Solar, you will play a key role in ensuring that roofing materials and installations meet Trinity standards. You will be responsible for inspecting roofing systems, identifying potential issues before they become costly problems, and documenting findings to guarantee five-star quality standards are met.

Project Management:

Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Manage subcontractors and ensure their work is completed on time and to the required Trinity standards.
Offer assistance and answer questions about the roofing system and installation practices to the customer.

On-Site Supervision:

Conduct thorough inspections of roofing systems, including the roof, attic, perimeter, and garage.
Take clear and detailed photos of any damage, leaks, or issues observed during inspections.
Generate detailed inspection reports that include findings, photos, and recommendations for corrective action.
Identify and diagnose potential problems such as improper installation.
Resolve onsite issues and problems as they arise.

Communication and Collaborations

Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, corporate project management team and stakeholders.
Communicate project status, issues, and changes to relevant parties. Report and document as needed.
Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Quality Control

Evaluate the quality of workmanship to identify potential errors or areas of concern.
Ensure all installations meet building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
Inspect key roofing components, including chimneys, skylights, vent pipes, flashing, and gutters, for issues that may affect performance or safety.

Safety:

Report all job site safety concerns to corporate project management team.

Qualifications:

Experience in roofing, construction, or quality control inspections is preferred.
Knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
Ability to identify and diagnose common roofing issues, such as leaks, poor workmanship, or weather-related damage.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring high-quality standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and report findings clearly.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficiently.
