Summary:
The Manager Accounting is responsible for managing accounting activities of their assigned functional team in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), proper review of journal entries to ensure the operating effectiveness of internal controls, and financial statement analysis relevant to their assigned functional responsibilities. These activities may include accounts payable and receivable; general ledger maintenance; financial analysis and reporting; budgeting; revenue and asset accounting. Review financial reports and accounting statements to ensure accuracy. Provide technical expertise and advice to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and their financial responsibilities.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree, Accounting degree is preferred.
Minimum 7 years of accounting experience required.
General ledger accounting experience and/or Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
CPA license preferred.
