Pallet Machinery Group, a one-stop resource for pallet and wood processing equipment needs, is seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join their team in the Tappahannock VA area.
If you have at least 1.5 years of experience with CNC Programming/Machining, this is an opportunity you dont want to miss. Experience with CAD or CAM software is a plus!

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, sample parts, and production jobs to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts.
- Calculate speed and feed values for various materials.
- Optimize program efficiency through part program editing, including tool selection, speeds, feeds, and cut depths.
- Understand G and M codes, machine and fixture setup, canned cycles, and work offset coordinate systems.
- Use measuring instruments such as outside micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, and indicators to verify conformance of finished parts to print specifications.
- Clean and maintain the machine and its surrounding area.
- Interact with supervisors and production personnel to resolve manufacturing and assembly issues and provide technical assistance.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Adhere to safety regulations and policies.
