Compensation:
$125,000 – $165,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and ensure accurate interpretation of laws and regulations.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions, advocating for their best interests.
- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other attorneys to build a strong case and provide effective legal representation.
- Stay current on legal developments, precedents, and best practices in litigation to continuously improve legal services and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid license to practice law in California.
- Show 0-5 years of litigation or other relevant experience.
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical and writing skills.
- Exhibit outstanding oral advocacy abilities.
- Embrace a collaborative and collegial work approach.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and the capability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Wage and hour experience a plus.
