AR Specialist – Hybrid in DC
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is an association in DC whose goal is to empower and champion their members.
- Due to a vacancy, they are looking to bring on an AR Specialist in Washington, DC.
- The leadership team is dedicated to employee success and love to promote from within.
- Pay: $25-29/hr depending on experience. This position is temporary and can go permanent for the right candidate at a salary of $60,000 a year depending on experience!
- This position is hybrid (2 in, 3 out) on a 37.5/hr work week.

Overview of the AR Specialist role:
- Billing – prepare invoices and maintain an established billing schedule
- Payment Posting – credit, cash, check, & ACH
- Collections – B2B collections – monitor the aging – establish relationships with clients
- General reconciliations
- Ad hoc reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the AR Specialist:
- 3-5 years of AR experience
- Sage Intacct and Concur is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel skills are a plus
- Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail.
