As an Associate Technician in the Pilot Plant, youll be actively engaged in a dynamic and quality-focused environment, contributing to the execution of formulation and product manufacturing trials specifically focused on our wet food product lines. Your role will involve providing valuable assistance and support throughout the entire process, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of these trials. Safely conduct pilot plant trials, following established procedures and maintaining a high standard of safety Set up, operate, and clean food-processing equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness Regularly perform maintenance tasks and assemble/disassemble equipment for different trials Maintain accurate records of data as specified in pilot plant requests Strictly adhere to all facility policies regarding safety, security, and compliance with Good Laboratory and Good Manufacturing Practices (GLP & GMP) 2+ years of end-to-end manufacturing processing/operations experience and/or mechanical maintenance/troubleshooting experience 1+ years of experience with material handling equipment such as forklift, Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment, motorized pallet jack, etc. 1+ years of professional experience on a computer is preferred Working knowledge of factory pet food/food processing equipment and operations is preferred Must be willing to work Monday through Thursday from 6:50AM-4:20PM and Friday from 6:50AM-10:50AM.
