CornerStone Staffing has partnered with City of Dallas and is seeking a Litigation Paralegal. Seeking an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated litigation paralegal to the team.

Position: Litigation Paralegal (Torts Section)
Pay: $25/hour
Location: Downtown Dallas (must pay for own parking)
Hours: Monday–Friday | 8 AM–5 PM
Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in defending personal injury claims, including motor vehicle collisions and premises liability cases.

Collect and organize documentary evidence and case information.

Summarize depositions and file documents in Texas state courts.

Manage deadlines, draft, and respond to discovery requests.

Handle subpoenas and third-party discovery requests.

Research legal issues and process correspondence.

Prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, and case-related documents.

Assist in preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

Support the creation of trial and appellate briefs.

Maintain regular communication with the public, city officials, and staff.

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Must have Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
-
Must have strong pre-trial and trial experience in Texas state courts
-
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, and e-discovery platforms
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
