Accounts Payable Manager Responsibilities
- Supervise, train and mentor a staff of 7 AP Clerks and manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Responsible for month-end and year-end close activities
- Post journal entries
- The AP Manager is responsible for accruals, fixed assets, revenue recognition, and accounting consolidation
- Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled on a recurring basis as required
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
- ERP systems experience
- Prior management experience or supervisory experience is preferred but not a requirement
