Dental Assistant

Gargiulo Periodontics

Location: Chicago, IL

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. You’ll support our provider(s) during treatment and help deliver outstanding care to our patients and contribute to the overall efficiency of our practice.

Working Schedule: Mondays 7:30-5:30PM, Tuesdays 6:30AM-2:30PM, Wednesdays and Thursdays 6:30AM-3:30PM  

Responsibilities

Provide chair-side clinical support to Drs by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-upDeliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointmentTake and process X-RaysMaintain accurate patient records and documentation Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatoriesWelcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment careEnsure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulationsPlease note that additional responsibilities may be assignedQualifications

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of Dental assisting experience

Preferred Skills

Coronal Polish & Sealant Certified Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitudeReliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical settingCompletion of a dental assisting program preferred according to State and individual practicesRadiology certification preferred according to state and individual practices

The starting salary range for this role is $25 – $30 per hour based on full-time employment.
