*Overview*
Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Pharmacy Services to lead and oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and management of our hospital’s pharmacy operations. This role is instrumental in shaping the overall direction of pharmacy services to support our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and goals for the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with organizational objectives.
* Collaborate with department heads, medical staff, and nursing teams to assess needs, resolve issues, and optimize processes to support effective and safe drug therapy.
* Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
* Leverage deep expertise in pharmacy practices and concepts to plan and achieve department objectives effectively.
* Oversee and manage the delivery of pharmacy services, ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and patient outcomes.

*Qualifications: *
* An advanced degree (e.x., PharmD or Masters in Pharmacy/Healthcare Administration). Doctorate Degree preferred.
* Active and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy.
* A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in pharmacy services, with demonstrated leadership experience.
