About the facility A Corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.

About the facility location The facility is located 1 hr from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

About the clinician’s workday The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or four 10-hour shifts per week.

The expected caseload is 1012 patients daily.

Required certifications include Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) status, BLS, DEA registration, a valid Wisconsin license, three professional references (including two from supervisors), and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

The role involves handling a variety of procedures such as treating injuries, acute illnesses, conducting follow-ups, physicals, and correctional care.

Additionally, the provider will work with critically ill patients, including those in palliative and hospice care, and must be able to cover both a skilled nursing facility and a palliative care program.
