Looking for a hands-on role with variety? As a Farm Maintenance Technician, youll be responsible for keeping our farm operations running smoothly. From maintaining produce houses to repairing equipment and live haul trailers, your skills will keep everything in top shape.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair key farm equipment like ventilation, heaters, feed systems, and manure handling.
Troubleshoot and fix automatic control panels for efficient farm barn operations.
Ensure smooth running of feeding, water, and plumbing systems.
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on duck houses and live haul trailers.
Operate and repair machinery, including welding, cutting, and assembling parts.
Collaborate with the team to diagnose issues and keep operations safe and productive.
Keep accurate records and comply with all safety and regulatory standards.
Report and address any equipment or animal welfare concerns.
What Youll Need:
2+ years in farm or equipment maintenance.
Proficiency in plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
1+ year of welding experience (MIG and TIG).
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work weekends and handle a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to move, bend, and work with machinery.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally over 80 lbs with assistance.
Exposure to outdoor elements, farm conditions, and occasional loud noise.
