Exciting opportunity for an experienced mechanic/technician. Requires general knowledge of diesel trucks and mechanical aptitude to prep and maintain fuel storage. Self-directed, flexible schedule with an emphasis on maintaining a fleet of fuel tank wagons and ancillary support vehicles along with building and servicing fuel tanks for customers.
Requirements include:
Inspecting troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
Perform preventative maintenance tasks (changing oil, filters, etc)
Inspect equipment daily and follow-up on DVIR issues
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets the manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations
The ability to keep up with changing technology and updates
Experience working with fuel trucks a plus
CDL A or B preferred
Hazmat endorsement a plus
Must supply personal tools
