We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Duties:
– Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
– Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
– Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
– Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues and make accurate diagnoses
– Disassemble and assemble engine components as needed for repairs or replacements
– Perform heavy equipment operation as required for testing and repairs
– Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
– Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
– Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
– Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques
– Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– HVAC certification is preferred but not required
– Valid driver’s license
