In this position you will serves as a Security Specialist, providing senior level technical guidance and strategic programmatic support to DS/ATA leadership.

Major Duties: Who May Apply: Job Status: Duration Appointment: This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years. Conditions of Employment: Education: Education requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement.

Requirements: Qualifications: Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.

Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience managing a foreign assistance program and budget.
Experience identifying security infrastructure needs to develop plans and obtain funding.
Experience designing and implementing performance monitoring and evaluation programs to meet counterterrorism requirements.
Experience managing contracts related to counterterrorism training, logistics, and support operations.

There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position.
