About the facility A large hospital is seeking a physician associate for locum tenens coverage.

About the facility location The facility is located in southeastern Pennsylvania.

About the clinician’s workday This position follows a 4×10 schedule with shifts from 7 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m.

For the first month, the PA will work weekdays only, with no weekends or holidays.

After the initial month, one weekend per month will be required, depending on staffing needs, though shifts don’t need to be consecutive and the team avoids scheduling more than three days in a row.

While most weeks will be under 40 hours, full weeks may occur during the summer due to vacation coverage.

The role involves minimal proceduresprimarily central line and drain removalswith the majority of duties focused on writing notes, placing orders, and managing consults, discharges, and admissions.
