Requirements:

  • Valid and active Registered Nurse State license
  • Previous nursing leadership experience
  • BLS certification

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, to follow policies.
  • Supervise patient care, including assessments, medications, and documentation. Adjust care plans as needed.
  • Participate in staffing and scheduling for efficient patient care.
  • Mentor and educate nursing staff for their professional growth.
  • Monitor compliance, maintain quality standards, and conduct audits for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication for care coordination among healthcare team members.
  • Advocate for patients, address concerns, and promote patient-centered care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies according to protocols.
  • Ensure accurate electronic health record documentation.
  • Keep updated on healthcare regulations for staff compliance.
