About The Position
An RN in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) cares for critically ill or injured patients who require constant monitoring and advanced medical interventions. These patients often have life-threatening conditions, such as severe heart problems, respiratory failure, or traumatic injuries. The ICU nurse is responsible for closely monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing complex equipment, and assisting with procedures. They work alongside doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide intensive, round-the-clock care. ICU nurses must be highly skilled in critical care techniques, making quick decisions, and providing emotional support to patients and their families during stressful times.
